Our pupils take part in swimming sessions in Year 4.. Parents of any pupils who are not able to complete the 25 m lengths or demonstrate a range of strokes are made aware of recommended targets.

80% of our Year 6 pupils (2017-2018) were able to swim the appropriate distance with a range of strokes for Key Stage 2. Self-rescue also formed part of their Y4 programme.

86% of Year 6 pupils (2018-2019) were able to swim the appropriate distance with a range of strokes for Key Stage 2. Self-rescue also formed part of their Y4 programme.
