A Better World (Autumn)

Our first topic this term is 'A Better World' where we will be focusing on what makes us good citizens as well as what we should do and can do to make our world a better place for our futures. Year 3 will be paying particular attention to...recycling, reusing and reducing! 

What we'll be getting up to...

• A recycling competition to see which House uses the least amount of paper.
• Designing and creating our own recycling containers for our classes. 
• Making our own paper. 
• Surveying our school to determine how we can reduce our waste. 
• Writing a persuasive letter to Sadiq Khan inform him of how we can improve our school's recycling. 
• Creating our own pillows from recycled materials to raise money for Greenpeace
